Creation Dynamix Back to the CV Builder

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Please read these terms before you use the Creation Dynamix CV Builder. By creating an account and paying for a CV, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

This service is operated by Quintin Matthews, trading as Creation Dynamix, a sole proprietorship registered in South Africa.

We are based in South Africa and this service is offered to customers in South Africa.

2. What the service does

You type your own work history, education, skills and contact details into our website. We write that information up as a professional CV and give it back to you as a finished document.

You receive, for one payment:

You may print your CV as many times as you like, and download it again as often as you like, for as long as we hold it. See section 6.

3. What the service does not do

We do not add anything you did not tell us. We do not invent duties, qualifications, job titles, employers, dates or results. The only thing we change is the wording around the facts you gave us.

We do not check whether what you tell us is true. You provide your own information. We take it as correct.

We do not guarantee that you will get a job, an interview or a reply. No CV service can promise that, and we do not.

We do not guarantee that your CV will pass any particular employer's screening software. One of our designs is built to be easier for such systems to read. That is not a guarantee.

4. Your information is yours, and you confirm it

This is the most important part of these terms, so please read it carefully.

Everything on your CV comes from you. Before we produce your CV, we show you your answers and ask you to confirm them. We also show you the professional wording we have written and ask you to read it and approve it. You can change any of it at that point, free of charge, as many times as you like.

Once you confirm your answers and approve the wording, that is what we produce.

This means that if the finished CV contains a mistake that you confirmed, we cannot refund you. If you typed your phone number incorrectly, gave the wrong dates for a job, or misspelled an employer's name, and you then confirmed it on the confirmation screen, the CV we produced is the CV you asked for.

You are not stuck with the mistake. See section 5.

5. Corrections and updates

Your first correction is free. If there is a mistake on your CV, whatever the cause, we will fix it once at no charge. Ask us within the period we are holding your CV.

After that, any further update costs R59. That includes changing your details, adding a new job, or changing the design. You get the full set of documents again, in both lengths.

Every update restarts the clock. See section 6.

6. How long we keep your CV

We keep your CV and the information behind it for six months from the date it was produced. During those six months you can sign in and download or print it as many times as you want, at no extra cost.

If you update your CV, the six months starts again from the date of the update. We keep only the latest version. The previous version is replaced.

After six months, your CV and your information are deleted automatically. This happens by itself, on a schedule, not by hand.

If you come back after the six months have passed, your CV no longer exists and a new one costs the full price again.

You can also have your CV and your account deleted at any time before then, by emailing privacy@creationdynamix.co.za. See section 12, which sets out exactly what we hold and what we do with it.

7. Price

R109, once off. That is the whole price for the full CV, the one page CV and your chosen design.

There is no subscription and no recurring charge. We will never charge your card again automatically. The only further charge that can arise is the R59 update fee in section 5, and that only happens if you ask for an update and agree to pay for it.

Creation Dynamix is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and R109 is the full amount you pay.

8. Your account

You need an account to use this service, so that you can get your CV back if you lose your phone. You must give a working email address and confirm it before we produce your CV.

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us at support@creationdynamix.co.za.

Use your own information. Do not create a CV for somebody else without their knowledge, and do not use the service to misrepresent anyone.

9. Your identity number

We ask for your South African identity number because most South African employers expect to see it on a CV. It appears on the CV we produce for you.

It is kept in your browser with your draft, never in our database. Because it is printed on your CV, the services that turn your CV into a PDF receive it (see section 12), and it is in the PDFs we keep for you. It is never sent to the artificial intelligence service that helps write your CV. It is deleted along with everything else at the end of the six months, or earlier if you ask us to delete your account.

If you would rather not give it to us, please contact us at support@creationdynamix.co.za before you pay.

10. What we may refuse

We may refuse to produce a CV, or close an account, if:

If we refuse for one of these reasons before producing your CV, we refund you in full.

11. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care to produce your CV accurately from the information you confirm.

We are not responsible for the consequences of information you gave us, including anything that follows from an error you confirmed.

We are not responsible for matters outside our control, including your internet connection, your printer, your email provider, or an employer's decision.

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other South African law.

12. Your personal information

This section explains what we hold about you, why, for how long and how to get rid of it. It applies alongside the Protection of Personal Information Act.

Who is responsible. Quintin Matthews, trading as Creation Dynamix, at the address in section 1, is responsible for the information you give us. Questions about your information go to privacy@creationdynamix.co.za.

What we collect, and why. Only what is needed to produce your CV and to run your account:

What Why we need it
Your name It goes on the CV
Your mobile number and email address They go on the CV so an employer can reach you, and we use the email address for your account and to contact you
Your suburb and city Employers use it to judge how far you would travel. We do not ask for your street address
Your South African identity number Most South African employers expect it on a CV, so it appears on yours. See section 9
Your work history, education, certificates, skills and languages This is the content of your CV
Your date of birth It helps produce your CV and lets us recognise it when you pay for an update
Your citizenship and, only if you choose it, an employment equity (EE) note They are printed on your CV. The EE note is optional and we never assume it
Your referees' names and contact details They are printed on your CV. This is other people's information, so only give a referee's details if they have agreed
Your password Held in scrambled form. We cannot read it
Payment confirmation from PayFast To confirm you paid. We never see or store your card details

We do not collect anything we do not need, and we do not ask you for banking details at any point.

Who else sees it. Nobody, except the service providers we need to run the service: our website host, our database provider, our email provider, PayFast for the payment, the artificial intelligence service that helps write your CV, which receives only your career details, and the two services that turn your finished CV into a PDF. They process it on our instructions only. Our privacy notice names each one, its country and exactly what it receives.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with employers. We do not send you marketing.

Where you send it yourself. Your CV contains your own details, including your identity number. When you print it, email it or hand it to an employer, you are choosing to share it with them. That is your decision about your own document and we have no control over what happens to it afterwards.

How long we keep it. Six months from the date your CV was produced, then it is deleted automatically on a schedule. If you update your CV, the six months starts again and only the latest version is kept. See section 6.

Deleting it early. You can have your CV and your account deleted at any time by emailing privacy@creationdynamix.co.za. You do not have to give a reason. We will delete your CV, the PDFs we keep for you, your identity number and your account data from our records, and confirm to you within 30 days. We keep only the record of your payment, as tax law requires. Copies in our hosting provider's backups are removed when those backups are replaced. To remove the copy on your device, use Clear this CV from this browser in the CV Builder.

Your rights. You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to privacy@creationdynamix.co.za and we will answer within two working days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforeg@justice.gov.za.

Security. Your information sits behind your account and your password. Only you can reach your own record through the website. We do not display it in any list, export or report.

If something goes wrong. If your information is ever exposed, we will tell you and the Information Regulator, as the law requires.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one published when you paid. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated.

14. Contact us

We aim to reply within two working days.
